S5/6: For Wed 12 June: have a topic chosen for a personal reflective essay from among to following or choose your own if you have a topic you prefer. Details and writing frames to be discussed in class.
Personal Reflective Essay topics
Being lost.
Think about a time when you became seriously lost, not just in the next aisle at Tesco.
Dealing with injury.
Think about a time when you injured youself.
Write about a time when your actions resulted in seriously injuring someone else.
Write about a time when you seriously embarassed yourself.
A sacrifice you have made.
Think about having to give up something that genuinely meant a great deal to you.
Overcoming a setback.
Think about a time when your plans or hopes had all gone sour or you strived to achieve a goal but failed.
Having a negative impact on someone else.
Think about a time when you actions ruined someone else's plans.
Achieving or exceeding your own expectations.
Think about a time when you were striving to achieve a genuinely difficult goal and either achieved it or exceeded your expectations.
